Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

 

The Sustainable Development Goals aim to deliver a more sustainable, prosperous and peaceful future by 2030, by ending extreme poverty, protecting the natural environment, and strengthening human rights around the world.  Ireland has committed to achieving these and this is set out in the National Implementation Plan  2018 – 2020

The DNA of social enterprise is aligned to these goals and this is noted in the National Social Enterprise Policy for Ireland 2019 – 2022.   The social enterprise sector can and will advance the achievement of the SDGs and SERI is committed to playing its role in helping the sector achieve this.
