Financing Social Enterprise in Ireland

Writer's picture: SERISERI

Do you have something to say about how Social Enterprise in Ireland is financed?

A consortium comprising Social Innovation Fund Ireland (Rethink), Community Finance Ireland and Dublin City University (supported by The Irish Social Enterprise Network as an associate partner). Funded by the European Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) under their initiative supporting ‘Actions to Boost the development of finance markets for Social Enterprise’, we are one of 14 social finance projects currently being undertaken across Europe.

They are now looking for you to give 15 minutes of your time to share your knowledge, experience and challenges.

The Project

This project brings together significant Social Enterprise finance expertise which will ensure the successful delivery of its objectives including the development of suitable social finance instruments and investment-readiness supports.

They are asking you to participate in a survey so they can better understand the challenges you have faced in relation to accessing finance in the past, your attitude to potential sources of finance and your suggestions for the future of financing Social Enterprise in Ireland.

This is a unique opportunity for you to help them design and deliver tailor-made finance solutions for Social Enterprises across Ireland which will help unlock the full impact potential of your organisations.

They would be extremely grateful if you can also encourage other Social Enterprises to participate in the survey.

The survey link can be found at:

The surveys will remain live until 28th July 2021 @ 12:00
