SERI are delighted to officially launch our exclusive partnership with CBRE Global Workplace Solutions Ireland to drive social enterprise participation in the corporate sector in Ireland.
From 1 September 2022, CBRE and SERI will officially launch the Buy Social Corporate Challenge (BSCC) partnership, which aims to:
Raise awareness of Social Enterprise in the Irish corporate sector.
Create procurement opportunities for Social Enterprises in Ireland.
Support capacity building within the Social Enterprise sector by providing feedback, training, and mentoring where appropriate.
This structured programme will provide bespoke workshops and organic interaction opportunities. Through SERI’s network of members, it will also actively identify suitable social enterprises that could support CBRE in delivery of facilities management services to its clients.
The programme consists of monthly online workshops which will provide BSCC members with access to internal CBRE expertise on areas such as procurement processes, pitching and tendering and relationship building. It also aims to build understanding of how both sectors can work together to mutual benefit and raise awareness within the wider corporate community.
We believe that this is an exciting time for the social enterprise sector in Ireland, and that as awareness of social enterprise and its benefits to society and the economy grows, we will see more corporates seek out opportunities to do business with us. In order to meet the rising demand, we need support in terms of capacity building, networking and mentoring. We are delighted to work with CBRE to develop a programme of support for the social enterprises which are ready, or preparing to enter the corporate market.
The programme is free, and open to any social enterprise, or also to any individual or group which is hoping to start a social enterprise in the future.
To sign up, please complete the form linked below and you will receive an invite to our first event on Friday, September 30th from 11am to 12pm.
