This short, online course aims to give people working in Social Enterprises the knowledge and skills to manage and develop a marketing, communications and Public Relations (PR) strategy.
This short, online course will be delivered by the social entrepreneur, Tammy Darcy, Founder of The SHONA Project and Irish Cross Humanitarian of the Year 2021.
It aims to give people working in Social Enterprises the knowledge and skills to manage and develop a marketing, communications and Public Relations (PR) strategy for their own social enterprise.
Throughout this course, you will learn and develop practical skills for creating marketing and publicity strategies and materials to communicate more effectively with your key stakeholders. You will learn how to promote the work and reputation of your social enterprise within social and traditional media.
You will also learn core communications and PR management concepts including:
(i) corporate social responsibility;
(ii) community relations;
(iii) issues and crisis management; and
(iv) profile and reputation management.
Progression: On successful completion of this course, you may progress to the Certificate in Social Enterprise Management (30 credits, Level 7).
